A full $30 billion flowed into U.S.-listed exchange-traded funds last week, bringing year-to-date inflows up to $230.3 billion.

The bulk of the money went into U.S. equity ETFs and U.S. fixed income ETFs, though international equity and fixed income ETFs attracted solid inflows as well.

The U.S. stock market soared last week, bringing the S&P 500 to within 1% of its all-time high and nearly erasing the 5.5% peak-to-trough pullback in the market from April.

Top flows gainers last week included the Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ), the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) and the Vanguard 500 Inde Fund (VOO), which had inflows ranging from $2.3 billion to $3.4 billion.

Price gainers last week were led by SonicShares Global Shipping ETF (BOAT)'s 6.1% gain. Silver ETFs were also big gainers last week, including the iShares MSCI Global Silver And Metals Miners ETF (SLVP).

SPY Outflows

On the outflows side, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) led all losers, with redemptions of $1.8 billion.

It was followed by the Vanguard Intermediate-Term Corporate Bond ETF (VCIT) and the Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares (SOXL), which had outflows of $936 million and $726 million, respectively.
